Jeanette Cooke Obituary, Co-founder Of Cornerstone Has Died Of Cancer
Jeanette Cooke Obituary, Death – Our good friend Jeanette Cooke, who was also a co-founder of Cornerstone and a former member of the staff, passed away this past Sunday. Jeanette was with us for many years. Our thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones during this difficult time. During the last few months of her life, Jeanette put up a valiant struggle against cancer; nonetheless, she is at rest now that she is in the presence of our Lord Jesus.
Jeannette lived a lovely life that was characterized by her commitment to the Lord and actions of service to other people. She, her husband, and their children relocated to the Netherlands in the 1980s so that she could develop a missionary training program in Europe called Cornerstone. the program was named after the name of their church in the Netherlands. Jeanette’s life has been a source of blessing and joy for our community over the period of three decades, during which time it has touched the lives of a great number of people who reside in the village.
Our hearts go out to all of her children, grandchildren, friends, and other relatives and family members who are currently residing in Australia. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. I pray that the Lord would comfort and bring peace to each and every one of you in this time of need.A little more than two years have passed since we said our final farewells to Ron, who was Jeanette’s husband. We refer to a different chapter from the Bible that states, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have kept the faith,” now that she has also finished her race. 4:1-7 from 2 Timothy (KJV)
