Jacob Johnson Obituary, Death – Jacob Johnson has passed away. Jacob attended Midkota Elementary School and Tot’s Landing Preschool in Binford, North Dakota. At this time, he developed a liking for basketball, fishing, and archery. Whether it was from a pier, grandpa’s boat, or a fish house, he has always loved fishing.
Also, he loved playing baseball with his friends and family during the summer. Hundreds of gophers, along with geese, ducks, and deer, were among the many kinds of the game he liked to take. He enjoyed his trip to Turks and Caicos with our family very much. Jacob will graduate from Glenfield’s Midkota High School in May 2020 after completing his high school coursework. Over a number of years, he developed a closer relationship with the male students in his class.
He achieved great success in both his recreational and academic pursuits. He engaged in FBLA, won a scholarship at VCSU, and was a standout in FBLA in addition to basketball, Envirothon, and track & field, particularly the javelin. He played golf, hunted coyotes, and went on adventures all the time, visiting Orlando, New York City, Washington, D.C., and other places. He also participated in activities connected to his studies.
He also loved anything lake-related in the summer, including jet skiing, knee boarding, or tubing, as well as snowmobiling, ice fishing, and snowboarding in the winter. Jacob went to Fergus Falls with his sisters when he was sixteen years old to pick up Buck, the love of his life. Soon after Jacob entered our lives, Lexi followed, and ever since then, we have treated her like family.
After graduating from high school, Jacob enrolled in a 16-week welding course at Lynnes Welding School in Fargo, North Dakota, where he earned his welding certification. Soon after completing his degree, he joined the Boilermakers and took on a number of tasks in ND and MN. He finally did some welding work for nearby farmers and ranchers before deciding to join the family farm in the fall of 2021.
